During the service

We have activity bags in the sanctuary for children to enjoy.

Several times each month we teach a children’s story, when a church leader spends some dedicated time with the children. Because “big church” is for everyone—even little ones.

On the first Sunday of every month our whole church family—from the youngest to the oldest—worships together. We’re a family church, and there are times when it’s important for the whole family to be together.

Nursery

Three volunteer caretakers oversee our nursery on the second, third, fourth, and fifth Sundays of every month.

Parents can drop their children off in the nursery before services begin or midway through the service, after kids are dismissed for Junior Church.

Parents can pick up their children from the nursery (on the second floor) directly after the service ends.

Junior Church

We offer Junior Church the second, third, and fourth Sundays of the month for children K–5.

Trained volunteer teachers lead an experiential lesson designed for children to learn about God’s love through Jesus in tangible, interactive, and fun ways!

Parents can pick up their children from the Junior Church classroom (on the second floor) at 11:15.

Teenagers

We encourage middle and high school students to serve and participate in our church’s regular rhythms. We also have certain events just for them. See www.middle.st/teenagers for more information.

Safety

When you check your child in to our nursery we will ask for your cell number, so we can quickly contact you during the service should we need to.

Every volunteer who works with children undergoes a federal and state background check.

We carefully locate our children’s spaces in areas of the building that are secure and have access to multiple emergency exits.

We provide ongoing safety training for caretakers and teachers.
